Abdurrahaman Nuraini an indigene of Fagge Local Government born on the 25 of September 1960.

He acquired all his formal education within Kano State from Kuke Primary School to School for Arabic Studies (SAS) and then Advance Teachers Collage, Gumel. After graduating in 1982 with National Certificate of Education (NCE) in English/ Hausa, he joined the pioneer Kano State Owned Television Station, CTV 67, as a News Assistant.

After 12 years of meritorious service, he voluntarily left for Kano State Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO) as a Public Relation Officer for 5 years, at which time he was recalled to his former place of employment News & Current Affairs (NCA) division of CTV 67 in 2001.

Towards the end of the year 2003, he was invited to oversee the setting up of the News & Current Affairs Division of the First Independent & Indigenous Northern Nigeria's Radio Station, FREEDOM RADIO 99.5FM.
