Two Dead School Boys Discovered Inside River Nguru, Yobe
Some fishermen have recovered corpses of two school boys from River Nguru in Yobe state.
The case was reported to the Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Commandant of NSCDC, Muhammadu fari confirmed the incident, while speaking to pressmen, stating that an autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of their death.
“The tragic incident might have happened while the school boys likely to be between 13 and 14 years were fishing at the river.” He said.
He, however, advised parents and guardians to monitor the whereabouts of their wards in order to prevent future cases like this from reoccurring.
