Gambo Eager To Play With Yobo At Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars forward, Gambo Mohammed, says it will be a great honour to play alongside former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo at the club, sources report.

Yobo, who was capped 101 times by Nigeria, has signed for the four- time Nigeria Professional Football champions as part of the League Management Company Elite Scheme programme.

The Pyramid City side beat the likes of FC IfeanyiUbah, Akwa United and Wikki Tourists for his services.

Gambo told sources that he is looking forward to playing in the same team with the one of the legends of Nigerian football.

“Joseph Yobo is someone I admire a lot and it will be a great privilege to play alongside him for Kano Pillars,” the striker told sources.

“Everyone at the club is keen to see him train and play in the league for us.

“I know our supporters are excited about this too and you can expect a fully packed Sani Abacha Stadium when he makes his home debut.”
