2 Judges Kidnapped in Kogi
Two Judges of Kogi State Judiciary are feared kidnapped as efforts by the security operatives to see them come back to their homes yesterday proved futile.
They were traveling from Idah headquarters of Idah local government, Kogi State to a community near Ocha hills notorious for armed robbery, before the incident happened.
Activities at the judiciary areas in Lokoja yesterday were slow as the news of the kidnap of two judges filtered into the capital city of Lokoja, Kogi State.
The Judges, Alih Okeme and Timothy Alih, account stated were dedicated judges who were picked at different locations, while Hon Alih Okeme was kidnapped on Ojuwo Ocha along Idah-Ajegwu-Lokoja road, Hon Timothy Alih was kidnapped at Ayingba, Dekina local government.
According to Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Kogi State command, ASP William Ayah, he said policemen are already combing the bush for rescue.
